I have a lot of respect for Greene's. Another auto shop was trying to charge me a ton of money to fix my car. Greene's went in and manually tested the parts instead of just running numbers on a computer and found that there was actually nothing wrong with my car! Best yet they didn't even charge me. Its rare these days to find good customer service and Greene's has it.

He also studied Automotive Technology at Central Nine Career Institute!
Being new in town, from the desert southwest, I needed to be sure my car was Midwest winter ready. I relied on Yelp to help me find a good, honest mechanic and it looks like Yelp came through...My first experience with Greene's was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. They got me winter ready at a reasonable price. They also provided me with information, but without any high pressure sales...Just advised me of a couple things we needed to keep an eye on, and they'd check with each oil change.
I'll definitely keep coming back here...

OUR SERVICE:
At Greene's Auto Service no job is too big or too small. Starting with simple maint (ie: Oil changes, Tire rotations, Tire replacement and Balance) to full engine light and air bag diagnostics, cooling system leaks/repairs and complete AC diagnostic and repair.
We are also a Jasper engine dealer and can provide OE engine replacement when necessary. We have the latest software for engine diagnostic and the latest Scan tool from Snap On.
Our shop consists of 13 repair bays with several different style vehicle lifts. We recently have updated our alignment machine and can perform alignments on the latest models.
We offer full brake repair from brake pad and rotor refinish/replace to full replacement of hydraulic components. Suspension repairs are also available including replacement of control arm/ball joints, shocks, struts, also steering components such as tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm and rack and pinion & MUCH MORE!!
Warranty info: Our standard warranty is 12/month PART & 6/month LABOR, however many of our PARTS carry a lifetime warranty.

OUR STORY
Steve and Melissa Ottney opened Greenes Auto in Center Grove, in July of 1989, Steve owned and operated the business for the first decade we were open. He and his wife Melissa still own the company but have handed over the daily operations to Michael and Bryan their two youngest sons.

Of our four technicians one of them have been with us for over two decades, Mike (a Lincoln College of Technology Grad) started with us shortly after we opened and still continues to help our business grow as our lead technician.

Steven and Joseph (Mike's two sons) after graduating from Lincoln College of Technology became part of our team and have been with us now for several years and continue to turn out quality work.
